Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using the site to keep family and friends updated regarding Eva's journey. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

June 9th Eva was diagnosed with stage 2 A Hodgkin's lymphoma. She had a biopsy to remove a single lymph node from under her arm June 8th, this gave us her diagnosis June 9th. We headed to CHOP in Philly June 15-16th for extensive testing.

June 23d she had a port surgically placed in her chest wall. This will make it much easier for her to have blood draws and have the chemo cocktail administered.

June 26 she started chemo.

Eva has a very positive attitude regarding this diagnosis.

But, the entire thing just sucks. Cancer sucks!

Her treatment has been set for 2 four week chemotherapeutic sessions. Tomorrow, July 10th, marks week 3. The first week was a 5 day intensive cocktail. Weeks 2 , 3 and 4 will have treatments on Mondays only, at the King of Prussia Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, satellite campus.

Eva has been given permission to swim! This is one of the many things we are so thankful for!
