Evan woke up on Tuesday morning, April 4, 2017 around 9am feeling ill. He had a pain in his upper stomach, and he felt nauseous. Around 11am he went to the UIndy Student Health Service Center. The pain worsened and around 1pm they suggested he go to the emergency room, suspecting it might be appendicitis.  His friend Gus took him there. Several hours and many test later a CAT scan determined he had pancreatitis. Ok, no big deal they will give him some medicine, maybe stay in the hospital 24hrs and we'll go home. After all its just his pancreas, and what does a pancreas do anyway?  Well, it does a lot, especially if it's not feeling well, and so our journey begins...
