January 18th...Today Jeff & I recieved the disappointing diagnosis no parent wishes to ever hear...little Evan (our soon to be 3 yr old) has a severe ASD (Atrial Septal Heart Defect) a large opening in his upper heart that is allowing blood to flow from one side to the other. He will need open heart surgery asap. We will know soon after the Cardiologist consult a Sr. Cardio Surgeon at Childrens Hospital in St Louis and Kansas City more details. Our family ask for prayers and we know the Lord is in control.
