Stanley and Carol Parker have a precious 4 month old son named Evan, who is in need of prayers right now. At Evan's routine 4 month checkup, his pediatrician noticed a rapid growth in his head size. After a CT Scan on Thursday, February 2nd, results quickly came back to show that one of his canals from his spinal cord is too short, so fluid is building up at the base of his brain. Friday morning, Stanley and Carol were called to take Evan immediately to Scottish Rite in Atlanta to see the pediatric neurosurgeon. Evan will have an MRI early Saturday to prepare for surgery. As of Friday night, the family has settled into their room at Scottish Rite and will be there for the next 3-4 days. This page will be used as a way to update and communicate for the family and friends of the Parker Family. As you can imagine, this is a stressful and tiring time for Evan's parents, so check this website for updates so Carol and Stan can focus on what is most important- Evan!
