On August 23, 2017 Eva was diagnosed with Leukemia ALL. It was the day that changed our family's life forever. Eva started falling in early July, just out of the blue. Screaming in pain that her back was hurting. 8 ER visits later, the Dr came in and asked to speak to me in another room. She looked at me..and said the words that totally crushed my heart. Eva has cancer. Surely I thought she had confused her with someone else.. As my heart sank and I screamed and cried, this is where our journey began. Eva began chemotherapy that day, a bone marrow biopsy and a port inserted. The Leukemia had attacked Eva's spine, making her bones that would compare to an 80 year old. Eva had 10 spinal compression fractures. 10. My baby had been walking around for nearly 2 months in pain. This..is her story. This is her testimony, one that will show greater strength than I could ever imagine.
