So I know many of you are concerned and scared. Some of you have no idea what it is to live in a nightmare. Well let us share........the phone rings at 430 in the morning and it is that awful call you never want to hear. But some how you stay calm and handle it with ease. You have little ones and everyone is sleeping so you think for a minute or two then tell your husband what has happened and say I have to put my big girl pants on and make the trip to Lacrosse to meet the Med-Link with our daughter as she was in an awful accident. And trust me I know there are several RUMORS about what happened. And really you should all not be worried about what happened and what didn't happen you should just worry about the well-being of those involved no matter the circumstance. Sorry if we have offended anyone.

This is the news of our beautiful daughter Erin Marie. She is 19 years old attending college at Viterbo University for nursing. Now she is laying in the Critical Unit at Gundersen Health Systems in a Trauma Coma, with several tubes, machines hooked up to her and not knowing what is going to happen next. Family has been here all day and loving her and talking to her and supporting each other. The doctors and nurses are wonderful. There have been many tests done but right now it is a waiting period.

We will be keeping this journal and another one at the hospital. We will be hanging all her cards up in her room. We will continue to tell her who has called and the prayers she is receiving. We would like to say THANKS to everyone for their prayers and support and it is in God's hands.
