Erin's story is a special one. She is a remarkable woman, and her journey is one of incredible faith, love, friendship, and accomplishment. She is a loving wife, dedicated mother to two wonderful twins, a sister, a daughter, a successful architect, an avid traveler, a skilled puzzle master, and a dear friend. 

She also has hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and needs a new heart. Since age 14, Erin has undergone multiple procedures (including open heart surgery) and numerous medication therapies in an effort to manage her cardiomyopathy, but her cardiologists have now said that they can no longer offer her any other solutions. On February 10th, she was officially placed on the heart transplant list at the UW Regional Heart Center.  It is unknown how long this process might take to receive a new heart, but we know this journey will be a long and difficult one. 

Our family created this CaringBridge website so that we can keep family and friends updated in one place, gather resources to help Erin (and family) when we need it, and to share specific prayer requests and words of hope and encouragement. 

Together, with Erin, we stand in faith in God's sovereignty and the truth of his unfailing promises.
