Erin Pipkorn

On July 23, 2018,  my wife Erin Pipkorn was diagnosed with breast cancer (invasive ductal carcinoma).  We were shocked at this news to say the least. The tumor was larger than most at initial diagnosis, but we were encouraged by the fact that the lymph nodes in the area of the tumor did not seem to  be affected.  Unfortunately, we later learned that the cancer had indeed spread to the lymph nodes and several areas on her spine.   Some positives to note! - Erin's liver, ovaries, lungs and brain were found to be clear of any cancer.   New drugs and therapies that are available, along with all of your thoughts and prayers, give us hope that Erin can still live a long life.  We are taking things one day at a time and trying to stay optimistic.

I want to personally thank everyone who has offered their support and words of encouragement.  It means more than you can imagine.

Thank you for visiting.
