Erin and Jared are so excited to welcome their first child into the world! Baby Girl B (and her awesome mom) are already loved by so many!  The pregnancy has been quite a journey thus far for the family, and is continuing:

After an uneventful first trimester and a super exciting gender reveal, on January 30th, Erin was admitted to the hospital, dilated 3 centimeters at only 21 weeks. She underwent a cervical cerclage procedure to stitch her cervix back together and hold off labor until the baby had further developed. The surgery went great and Erin was sent home for best rest for the remainder of her pregnancy.

On February 8th, Erin was admitted to the hospital again last night due to contractions and bleeding. She was given treatment for the contractions, which worked temporary, but they started again after 8 hours. The cause of both the contractions and bleeding is still unknown. Fortunately there is now less bleeding and the contractions have stopped thanks to a 48 hour magnesium infusion. Both Erin and the baby are doing great. The heart beat is strong and Baby B is developing correctly. They will be giving Erin a steroid shot later today to help speed up the development of the baby while being closely monitored.

Currently. Erin is at 23 weeks and will be kept in the hospital the remainder of pregnancy. She is located at St. Luke's in the Woodlands, 17200 St. Luke's Way, The Woodlands, TX 77384 on Labor and Delivery Floor 2, Room 218. If you would like to visit., please reach out to Erin or Jared directly to schedule.
If stable enough, she  will be transferred in the near future to St. Luke's in the Medical Center to be closer to the large NICU.

Jared and Erin will keep everyone posted on the journey and appreciate all of your kind words and prayers!
