Erika Farrington Erika's Stroke Recovery

First post: Jun 29, 2020 Latest post: Sep 5, 2020

Erika suffered a severe stroke on May 3, 2020 at the age of 36.  She is the single mother of Ryenn,  Jessica’s little sister, and Donna’s daughter. Erika is also an Auntie to Cara and Mikey. Erika has a strong support system that is comprised of a big family and a great network of close friends. We will walk along side of her during her recovery as she learns to take one day, one step, and one word at a time. She is a Stroke Survivor and now a Stroke Warrior fighting each day to overcome the dreaded obstacles she has been left with by her stroke. Erika has been left unable to use the right side of her body and is actively participating in physical therapy and occupational therapy. In addition, her stroke has left her affected by Broca's Aphasia which has severely impacted her ability to effectively communicate. Please join me as I share Erika's story from the day she went to the ER and her current journey through recovery!
Much Love~Jessica
