Those of you that know Erika, know she was a lively, fun-loving and caring person.  She loved going to museums, roller blading, yoga, shopping, festivals, etc.  She had many friends and was close with her large family.

Many of you also know of the issues Erika deals with. She fought her addiction to heroin every day. In looking through her journals after she overdosed on Thursday night, we found her plans to overcome this with religion, reflection, and redirection. In the last couple of weeks, Erika had signed up for phlebotomy courses, made an incredible inspiration board, attended church, written countless lists of things that she wanted to achieve, and focused on counting her blessings. And then she had a 'slip'.  That slip left her with severe, irreparable brain damage.  We are now going down a path of Organ Donation and will keep everyone updated as we learn who and how she can save.

Please note we are not asking for donations to this site although if you so desire, it does serve a very much needed service.
