Eric Witzel

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate all your prayers, words of support and encouragement. Three weeks ago Eric was hospitalized for complications due to COVID-19.  His health quickly deteriorated and the situation became far more serious than anyone expected.   Eric was placed on a ventilator and unfortunately the ventilator was no longer enough. He was transferred to the U of M and  placed on ECMO, which provides prolonged cardiac and respiratory support. The hope is this will allow his lungs to heal.  Eric is in the fight of his life and needs everyone's prayers!  We appreciate all your prayers , support  and words of hope and encouragement.
