In March 2017 I was diagnosed with MLS (Myelodysplastic Syndrome) which is a serious precursor to leukemia. I had a stem cell transplant in Jan 2018 and recovered well . Life got back to near normal until the summer of 2022, when my blood test results started trending downwards. I had a biopsy in Oct 2022 which revealed that I now had AML (acute myeloid leukemia) and have now started treatment for that.
