On Friday, June 3rd  Eric had an MRI done for what were believed to be tension headaches. Upon completion of the MRI, Eric was sent immediately to the Emergency Room because the MRI showed that Eric has a 6cmx7cm brain tumor in his left frontal lobe. By day's end, he had been admitted and had seen both a Neurologist as well as a Neuro-Surgeon.

On Sunday, June 5th, Eric had surgery to remove the tumor that was covering a quarter of his brain.

 While the surgery was very successful, the Pathology Report showed that the tumor Eric had was a Grade 3 (out of 4) Anaplastic Astrocytoma. Eric will need both chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
