Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thanks for visiting!

On Tuesday May 23, Eric was found unresponsive in his car on the side of a road near Anderson.  A sheriff was called, and an ambulance was dispatched to take him to Mercy Anderson.  At some point along the way, Eric started having seizures.  At Mercy, they were able to break the seizure and gave him a CAT scan.   The scan found a brain mass on his right temporal lobe.  Because there wasn't a neurosurgeon on site, they flew him to UC Medical Center.  At UCMC, they sedated him, and started him on medicines to reduce any brain swelling and to keep him from having more seizures.   They moved him to the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit for further monitoring and treatment.  On Wednesday evening, Eric got an MRI to help determine what the surgery plan will be.  We are waiting to hear from the doctor what the plan looks like going forward.  We will post updates whenever we get them.  Thanks for your thoughts and prayers!
