As many of you know, Eric Steven entered Lake Forest Hospital on June 15 with excruciating chest and arm pain. He would go on to be hospitalized 15 of the next 30 days with pain in his arms, chest and back.  No correct diagnosis was made during this time.   Thankfully, a rheumatologist noticed at abnormality on his bone scan, and arrangements were made to do a bone marrow on July 16.  On July 18 at 9:00 PM, we got word that a preliminary diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia was made.  This diagnosis has been confirmed.  He entered Northwestern Hospital the next morning to begin an aggressive treatment program aimed at treating  this disease. His having previous radiation worsens his prognosis. Neverthless,  Eric Steven remains optimistic about attaining a cure and has complete trust in God's will.  He is deeply humbled by  the outpouring of support he has received from family and friends.  Thanks to everyone who has prayed.Eric Steven says to keep those prayers coming!<div style="color:rgb(34,34,34);font-family:arial, sans-serif;background-color:rgb(255,255,255);"><div style="background-color:rgb(241,241,241);"></div></div>
