Hello Friends and Family,
As you may have learned, Eric has been in a significant motorcycle accident. First off, thank you to all of the family and friends who have reached out and shared their love, their time, and their support. A heartfelt Thank You to the first-responders, including our Cousin Chad Fossum who was on the scene so quickly and cousin Kim Bodle who has attended to him at the hospital.
Currently, Eric's condition is 'stable'. He has strong vital signs. He has suffered a significant head trauma, the extent of which will be determined in the next coming days, weeks, or months.
True to Eric style, he has fought the intubation tube- while that poses a challenge to the nursing staff, it is a good sign and shows that he has some level of cognitive function and has been able to move his arms and limbs.
Eric is our beloved son, father, brother, uncle. If you know him, you know he is strong of heart and mind. He is the man that will help you when you are in trouble and we are all here to help him now. We will try to update this site regularly as we gather information. Right now we are thanking God for all of the small and not so small miracles that have happened in the last 24 hours. We ask all of you to lift Eric up in prayer, lift his two teenage sons up in prayer, lift his family up in prayer, and all of the medical staff that are attending to him for wisdom and guidance.
