Eric Dewey

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are going to use it to keep family and friends updated in one place.  
Eric was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer) in Feb of 2016.  After being given a death sentence of 3-6 months from first oncologist, We sought out other opinions and are glad we did. The next two said no time frame but let's fight this beast and see what happens. Well here we are two years later and our journey continues with the help of Jesus. 
Eric truly believes his faith in God is the reason he is still here. From scriptures given to him through friends to the peace he feels deep inside his soul, he walks daily believing #Godsgotthis and that he has to #walkbyfaith. 
With the many hospital visits and surgical procedures or being physically exhausted it hasn't always been easy. He tries to keep smiling and knows who is in control. 
Also without the love, encouragement, help and sometimes kick in the seat of his pants from his beautiful wife Suzi he's not sure where he'd be today.
