Our family is requesting prayers for my 18 year old niece Erica, Daughter to my sister Dawn and Ericas Dad Matt. Late Sunday night Erica developed a severe headache and began vomiting up blood. Her boyfriend Andrew rushed her to the emergency room where she was airlifted to AbbottNorthwestern for care and they discovered a brain bleed. Xrays have been inconclusive. They do not believe she had a stroke or an aneurysm. She was placed in a medically induced coma and they have drilled into her skull to relieve the pressure on her brain. Currently she is stable and the Doctors believe she will recover but it will take time. At this time my sister and Matt are focusing on being there for Erica and would invite you to get updates from Ericas caringbridge rather than calling or texting.
