Emily Robbins Em's Kickin' Cancers Ass

First post: Feb 10, 2018 Latest post: Jun 14, 2019
On February 6th I was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia. About 4 weeks prior I began having bad pain on the right side of my neck and chest, so I saw a doctor who thought I simply had a pinched nerve. For the next 3 weeks the right side of my neck began to swell and the pain got worse and worse. On Monday, February 5th I finally went to Urgent Care, who then sent me to the emergency room with what they thought was an infection which could easily be treated with antibiotics. After a night at Highland Hospital, I was transferred to the Wilmot Cancer Center at Strong Memorial Hospital where they broke the news. I'll be spending the next month here at the Wilmot Cancer Center getting treatment, followed by a year of out-patient treatment. I'm surrounded by AMAZING doctors, nurses, family and friends who are all helping me through this unexpected hardship. I'm feeling good and staying positive, and appreciate all of the support along the way. Thank you! **Please do NOT donate below directly to CaringBridge to power this site**
