Welcome to our CaringBridge website. As many of you know, Emme is having spine surgery on Tuesday September 15th to correct her scoliosis. This has been a long journey for Emme. She wore a brace for five years and handled it like a pro! Unfortunately, her curves still progressed and now she needs to have her spine fused from T3-L1. I could not be prouder of my little scoliosis warrior. She has showed so much determination, courage and strength from diagnosis through today. After tomorrow, she will have two shiny rods and lots and lots of screws to make her stand even taller than she already does. I know her friends and family are all routing for her and we are so appreciative of everyone reaching out and supporting us. We know everyone wants to be updated on her journey so we are using this site to keep family and friends informed in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. We are all #EmBracingEmme every minute!! WE’VE GOT YOUR BACK sweet girl!! Thank you for visiting ❤️❤️❤️

***Please note...this is NOT a donation site for Emme nor has one been set up. This is just for friends and family to stay in touch xoxo

Many have asked what hospital...She is being seen by the best pediatric spine surgeon at Hopkins (Dr. Sponseller) so we are in excellent hands!! She will be there for 4-6 days and then home to recover for the next month! She would love visitors (with masks on) once she’s home recovering ❤️
