We decided to use caringbridge as a platform to keep loved ones updated. As our friends and family know-Emma had a planned reconstructive jaw surgery in the middle of August. Prior to surgery she was very healthy with no chronic health conditions. The surgery was complicated by aspiration pneumonia and since that time Emma has been having health issues.
