In the early afternoon, on March 27, 2017, Emily complained that pain in her chest was so bad, that she couldn't perform her tasks at the bakery any more so she went back to the Dr. in Macon where she had been treated earlier for pneumonia. Chest X-Rays showed pneumonia still present in the right lung, fluid in the base of the right lung cavity in addition to the right lung being completely collapsed. The left lung seemed normal. She was taken taken to ER in Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus for immediate treatment and more diagnoses. They inserted a vacuum tube into the right lung cavity to re-inflate the lung and remove fluid. She was admitted to room 420. The complications are the sequela of Chronic Pneumonia, which may possibly have been present since late last summer.
