Update: All, we NEED your help. I have been keeping discreet to allow Emily some privacy about her injuries. This young lady has been in the hospital for 11 days and will probably be here for another week or two.  While still allowing her a level of privacy, she has given me permission to tell you this. She has an approximate 8 inch laceration from her bottom side up into her abdomen. She has tubes in places that tubes aren't supposed to be.  Emily will probably never conceive children on her own. She has had 7 surgeries in 11 days and will need more before she leaves Froedtert. She will also need to go to see a surgeon at Theda Clark 2-3 times a week when we get home. Not only that, she will need countless reconstructive surgeries in the months and years to come.

As you are all aware, we lost our daughter Kenzie last year in a tragic car accident and still have not financially recovered from the (almost) year that I was unable to work due to the depression and anxiety that followed her death.

Many of you have reached out and asked what you can do help. Your continued love, prayers and donations are all that we can ask for at this time.

We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Our 17 year old daughter, Emily, was in a horrific jet ski accident on July 11, 2020. She was airlifted from Lake Poygan to Theda Clark Medical Center where she spent the night in the ICU before being transported to Froedert in Milwaukee.

Emily has suffered critical internal injuries that will require multiple series of surgeries in the upcoming months.  She has a very long and difficult journey ahead of her.

She is going to be a Senior at Appleton East High School this fall. She enjoys art, music,  diving for the Lady Patriots and wants to be a art teacher.

Emily is one of the strongest and most determined people we know.  She will undoubtedly pull through this with her positive attitude. If you are able to help us with the medical bills and expenses that are already piling up, please donate to our go fund me page. (gf.me/u/yf74i6)  Please do NOT donate on this caring bridge page. The donations made here go caring bridge not Emily's fund.

Emily's go fund me: gf.me/u/yf74i6

Thank you so much for all of your love, support and prayers.

Brian, Alyson, Emily and Cassie
