July 29, 2017... Emily fell 2 to 3 weeks ago and since then was complaining that it hurt. I took her to the chiropractor and later to the Dr. They could really find nothing wrong so I just didn't know what else to do. Then this last Tuesday she fell in the evening and was in terrible Pain. But the next morning she woke up feeling ok so she came along and helped me Clean.  Then Thursday morning Katrina, Emily and I were planning on going to North platte and when I was giving her a bath she started hurting Again.  It was really bad...She didn't even want me to touch Her. So I decided something was going to get Done. So I tried to call around to Doctors. Finally the open door seemed to take her back to Dr Demmel. So they got her right in and then Dr sent us over to he hospital for a CT scan. They also did blood work. The doctors were puzzled cuz if they would poke on her or feel her belly she always acted like it didn't hurt.

Friday they did an x-ray of pelvic area. Dr. Demmel had wondered if there could be a small fracture in the pelvis but that showed Nothing. Dr. Demmel came into our room... and thankfully Martin was there... And she said she wanted to sit down cuz she didn't like to tell this kind of news standing up. Needless to say my heart dropped to my toes. And yes she said she was going to send us to children's hospital in Denver because she was worried about leukemia. I went home to pack up and we headed out and got here around 4.

They did blood work yesterday and yes she did have those bad cells... Called leukemia. Today they put her out and did a bone marrow biopsy and a spinal tap. She did well and slept most of the afternoon. Now they woke her up 2 check some vitals and stuff and she's not feeling too good. They gave chemo today into her spinal Fluid.

The Dr just called Martin and they did more testing with her blood. She does have leukemia... All type b. And he said it's easier to work with so we are very thankful for that! We haven't discussed treatments yet but they will begin shortly... Tomorrow or Monday most likely. Thank you all for your prayers!!

I should have written the type as ALL type B.

Emily is 4. Her daddy is Martin and her mommy is Kim (Ensz). She has 5 older siblings... Jeremy 18, Benj 15, Anthony 14, Katrina 10, and Micah 8.
