Emile & Imra Dillis

Beginning two years ago, Emile and his wife Imra have been living through a very difficult time  including intense spiritual warfare, not having a full time job  and facing some debt, they were  hoping to move  forward into a  new season as a family.

Last December, Emile, Imra, and their family drove from Italy to Antwerp, Belgium, for a two-week Christmas break to spend time with their extended families. During this time, Emile experienced what at first was thought to be a stroke, affecting the entire left side of his body. He was soon hospitalized. After undergoing blood tests, MRIs, and a biopsy surgery, Emile was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor that was determined to be malignant. This is what caused the paralysis of his left side. Since then, many of you have expressed your love and support of the family, agreeing and believing together in prayer for Emile's healing and full recovery. Imra and the younger children have returned home to Italy so that they can return to school, having gotten behind since the holiday. Their two oldest daughters will stay in Antwerp where they will work and attend university while also helping to care for their father. For now, Emile will remain there as his medical team consults with him and Imra about next steps for his treatment and continued care. In the weeks following his hospitalization, much of Emile's left side has slowly become mobile again. The family lives by faith and believes this is evidence of the Lord working in his life, and God will continue to guide their steps in the weeks and months ahead as they and all walk through this together.

A partire da due anni fa, Emile e sua moglie Imra hanno vissuto un periodo molto difficile, tra cui un'intensa guerra spirituale.  2 anni di assenza di un lavoro a tempo pieno, Emile è stato benedetto con un nuovo lavoro nell'ottobre 2017. Si trattava di una risposta specifica alla preghiera poiché si aspettava di vedere dell questa nuova stagione come una famiglia.

Lo scorso dicembre, Emile, Imra e la loro famiglia hanno guidato l'Italia ad Anversa, in Belgio, per una pausa natalizia di due settimane per trascorrere del tempo con le loro famiglie allargate. Durante questo periodo, Emile ha sperimentato quello che inizialmente si pensava fosse un ictus, interessando l'intero lato sinistro del suo corpo. Fu presto ricoverato. Dopo aver subito esami del sangue, MRI e chirurgia biopsia, a Emile è stato diagnosticato un tumore cerebrale inoperabile che si è rivelato essere maligno. Questo è ciò che ha causato la paralisi della sua parte sinistra. Da allora, molti di voi hanno espresso il vostro amore e sostegno per la famiglia, concordando e credendo insieme nella preghiera per la guarigione e il pieno recupero dell'Emile. Imra e i bambini più piccoli sono tornati a casa in Italia per poter tornare a scuola, dopo aver soggiornato nelle vacanze. Le loro due figlie più grandi rimarranno ad Anversa, dove lavoreranno e frequenteranno l'università, aiutando anche a prendersi cura del loro padre. Per ora, Emile rimarrà lì mentre il suo squadra medica consulta con lui e Imra sui prossimi passi per il suo trattamento e il suo continuo assistenzio. Nelle settimane successive al suo ricovero in ospedale, gran parte della parte sinistra di Emile è lentamente diventata di nuovo mobile. La famiglia vive per fede e crede che questa sia la prova che il Signore sta lavorando nella sua vita, e Dio continuerà a guidare i loro passi nelle settimane e nei mesi a venire mentre camminano insieme.
