Hello to all our family and friends. Our journey to healing started on January 16th, 2016 when Eloise Grace was diagnosed with a brain tumor. We've created this site so you may all join us in Ellie's path to recovery. Love you all and thank you for your support, prayers and positive energy. This all happened so quickly. After noticing some issues with Ellie's vision we went to the Dr. in Coeur d'Alene who referred us to Sacred Heart in Spokane to have a scan to check for increased fluid in her brain. This is when they discovered the tumor. A more detailed MRI was performed. The mass is 5 centimeters near the center of her brain and pressing on her optic region impacting her vision and causing her head to be enlarged. After a biopsy and some analysis, it has been determined that Eloise has a low grade malignant astrocytoma. A low grade tumor is better news than having a high grade tumor as they are slower growing. We continue to investigate treatment options and other opinions.
