Eloise was born October 26th at 27 and a half weeks. She was 2 pounds 9 ounces and 14.5 inches. Initially she looked pretty sick. With the lack of amniotic fluid in utero, her first x-ray, and with having trouble keeping her oxygen saturations up the first night they thought her lungs were hypoplastic (too small). If that was the case she may not have made it. Fortunately they just needed to be popped open, inflated and to get some fluid out of places it shouldn't be! She's now looking up and things are getting better and better! She has a long road ahead of her, but she's tough and we are making it!
