Ellis Fischer

Thank you for visiting Ellis's story. Ellis began his long journey with Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinsonism years ago. Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinsons are related, and Ellis has suffered from the physical and mental symptoms of both conditions. Physically, he has had balance issues resulting in multiple falls and injuries. Mentally, he has suffered from dementia and its associated memory loss and impaired reasoning. As his condition progressed, he was aware of the fact that he was losing his ability to think and reason. That was understandably frustrating for him and caused him great mental anguish, anxiety, and depression. Through the years Ellis's disease has ebbed and flowed, with some very high highs and very low lows. His team of doctors has employed a variety of treatments for his symptoms, and he has been receiving full-time care. Ellis's condition has recently taken a turn for the worse. I have created this site as a way to keep his many friends and loved ones updated. Please keep Ellis in your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.
