My dad went into surgery mid-day Saturday and was out by 10p.m. He's been a trooper ever since! It's been a little tough for him - as it would be anyone, but unlike me, my dad likes to walk, talk, and exercise everyday so he's been a little overwhelmed with the little energy he has. He's also very stubborn and wants to do most things by himself (like hoist himself up in his bed) even though I always tell him to wait for a nurse! Because my dad is such a champ, he's recovering fast than most people who have had open heart surgery. He's been making good progress everyday!
