Before Christmas ella notice swollen lymph nodes. The nurse looked and called me. We decided to just keep an eye on it. It went down but then came back a couple weeks ago. I took her into the doctor and she wanted to do an ultrasound of her neck. That came back as a couple enlarge lymph node. So then she wanted a CT scan. We had that Thursday morning and got a call from our dr that the radiologist finds showed multiple lymph nodes and they were concerned about Lymphoma. We picked ella up from school and had to go back to the clinic for a chest X-ray and lab work. The X-ray showed that there were swollen lymph nodes in the chest area. The good thing is part of the lab work is normal WBC. Friday we met with the surgeon and pediatric oncologist. Ella will have surgery on Tuesday to remove one of the lymph nodes in her neck so it can be sent to pathology. It could take up to a week for results.
