Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

On the morning of September 10th, 2016 we rushed Elizabeth to the ER at Christus St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana. She was completely limp and unable to move her arms and legs. She had been completely fine just hours before these symptoms surfaced. We were air lifted almost immediately to Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock where we were inpatient from September 10th-November 7th, 2016. Elizabeth is now home in Texarkana and receiving PT, OT, and ST five days a week. She is working hard!

Elizabeth has been diagnosed with acute flaccid myelitis. This is a new and rare condition but medicine and steroids have helped her symptoms from worsening. Elizabeth improved while in the hospital with the help of IVIg medicine and steroids. She continues to improve with various physical and occupational therapy. It will take time and be a slow process, but we believe our Lord will heal our baby completely.

Please pray for our Elizabeth and for her complete healing!
