As many of you know, our dear Elise was involved in a life threatening car accident Saturday, November 11th. Surgeons, doctors, nurses, and medical support staff at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Hospital worked to save her life that night by sending her in for brain surgery to relieve the left side of her skull from swelling. Hours later they went back into surgery to relieve the right side which had begun to bleed. At this time they also put drains in on both sides of her brain to help the swelling go down. Elise suffered from other injuries, but the brain trauma is most pertinent to pray for at this time. Elise continues to receive phenomenal care here at OLOL. We have been blessed by all your prayers and support during this time. We thank God for you and your love for our family.
