Ele Haynes Ele's Prayer Warriors

Welcome to the CaringBridge website for Ele Haynes. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.


Ele's story.... in the fall of 2016, Ele was diagnosed with invasive mammary ductal carcinoma Stage 2B.  In December, she had a double mastectomy with plans for reconstruction.  In addition to the 30mm tumor, they did remove several lymph nodes.  Two of the lymph nodes did test positive.  She is currently making the rounds of doctor visits to finalize the treatment plan.  While not finalized, the treatment looks like it will include chemo (definite), radiation (probably), and more surgery to finish getting a clear margin.  Ele has really appreciated being under the care of Dr. Hassenyeh, surgeon (Jack Bailey office manager and Theresa, nurse) and Dr. Bisseck, plastic surgeon.  Dr. Goldberg, oncologist from Summit Care, will be coordinating the chemo.  We will keep you updated as plans develop.


Ele appreciates all of the love and support that she has experienced so far. She is thankful to have such a large group of supportive friends and family so she knows she is not going through this by herself.  Please continue your prayers, support and food!
