Welcome to Elena White's Caring Bridge website. 
Elena (age 5) contracted COVID-19  at the end of October.  She had mild symptoms and her family believed she was in the clear.  However, on Monday, November 23rd,  she seemed a little off and started running a fever.  It never let up even with medication and spiked as high as 105 degrees.  Tori (Elena's mom) acted quickly and drove her to the Children's Hospital in St. Paul.  After several tests came back, the doctors' suspicions of MIS-C became clearer.

She is currently still in the hospital and is experiencing some ups and downs with her condition.  To be discharged, her labs need to be normal and she needs to be fever free for 48 hours.
