Our sweet and precious 13 yo Elena was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 and she began her chemotherapy on 3/27/2019. She has a long hard journey ahead of her. But, Elena very strongly believes that this is her fight and she is going to get through it. She is our warrior princess. Elena is surrounded by a loving family, Michael, Sarah, Sophia(18) and Olivia (15) along with countless family and friends who love and care for her dearly. She definitely has an arsenal of prayer warriors behind her.
On April 28, 2020 Elena’s AML relapsed. She is now on a journey toward Bone Marrow Transplant which we have decided to do in Ft Worth at Cooks Childrens. Her sister Olivia has been determined as a 💯 bone marrow donor match! That is the majority of this battle-finding a good match diminishes the chance of rejection . God is good!
