Eleanor was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome in December of 2013.
Myelodysplastic Syndrome is a range of issues from low red blood cells to Leukemia.
If you'd like more information on this syndrome you can go to:  http://www.mds-foundation.org/what-is-mds/
Eleanor was able to move forward with Aranesp shots to help increase red blood cell production and an occasional blood transfusion.
Unfortunately, those transfusions have been more and more frequent in the last few months.
