Elaine Widner Elaine's Entourage

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.  
As you have probably heard, Elaine has been diagnosed with Ovarian cancer.  You also probably know that Elaine is a pretty amazing person and with all of the love, help and support of her family, friends and medical team, she is going to KICK CANCER'S ASS!!!!! 
As of now, this is what we know regarding her treatment plan. She will be having chemo on January 3rd, 10th and 17th, followed by another round of 3 weeks and then a final round of  3 weeks...so 9 weeks of chemo (only once a week!) a short break, possibly 2 weeks, and then surgery and more chemo.  We will try to keep everyone updated, as best we can, since this could always change depending on different factors. Thank you all for being a great support team for Elaine and Jim.  Without even knowing many of you, I already love you for that alone!!!!
