Elaine Reynolds

Thanks for visiting Elaine's Caring Bridge site.  Jennifer and Megan will use this site to keep everyone updated so they can spend their time with their momma.  As you all know, Elaine is a pretty private gal so sharing things about her at all is not something she is really comfortable with but they realize how many people love Elaine and want to join in praying, helping, and supporting she and the girls. 

Elaine has not really felt great since her bout with pneumonia in February.  Her stamina and energy grew less every day; she began to feel weakness on her left side and generally just didn't feel good.  After visiting with docs and having tests run, a mass was discovered in her lungs.  A biopsy procedure has led to a diagnosis of non small cell carcinoma in lymph nodes and lungs.  She is awaiting the final pathology report and will visit with oncology doctors in the coming weeks to determine her best plan of action. 

Right now she is really tired; taking lots of naps and resting between doctor visits.  A Meal Train has been set up to help with food; if you are interested in helping with that please let us know through a message on this site and we will get you set up.  She isn't really answering calls or texts right now.  She loves reading your supportive and caring messages but  please do not get offended if she doesn't reply right away.  

Updates will be posted as often as possible.  Thank you for loving Elaine and the girls.  They are blessed to have each of you in their lives and they covet your prayers.
