Welcome to Elaine’s CaringBridge site. We plan to update here every so often so everyone can keep up on how her cancer treatment is going. Thank you for visiting!

Just before Thanksgiving 2018, Elaine was diagnosed with Stage 4B, Right Ovarian high grade Serous Carcinoma; breaking this down, it essentially means she has stage 4 cancer that started in her right ovary but has spread throughout her lymph nodes and other areas of her body.

A genetic disease called LYNCH syndrome is also being tested for, it causes early onset of a collection of different types of cancer, but ovarian cancer has run in Elaine’s family for at least three generations.

She is tough, she is young, and she has always taken wonderful care of herself and these things will help her on her battle, along with her kind heart and positive attitude.
