Elaine Burr

As y’all know by now, Elaine (hereafter “Nana”) has had a difficult couple of weeks. I am not going to go into a lot of detail, so as to keep some things private, but wanted to set this up for future communications with friends and family. 
Nana is currently at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, where she has been since Tuesday evening, 11/23. She is in good spirits and mostly herself. She has periods of tiredness from PT and still trying to regain her strength. Because of living alone, she wasn’t eating as often as she should have, so she has lost some weight. SMH is working diligently to help her regain that weight, and she loves their food. Much thanks goes to Dave for all the time, effort, and wonderful cooking he has done for her these last few weeks. Without him, she would be in a much more fragile state. 

I will be posting both updates and anecdotes here for all to enjoy.
