Eileen Tiexiera Eileen's Angels

First post: Dec 29, 2016 Latest post: Jun 29, 2019
For those of you who are unaware, Eileen was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) Philadelphia Chromosome Positive on December 16th, 2016. She was transferred to Rhode Island Hospital that same day. We are hoping she will be able to come home soon.

Eileen is staying STRONG and POSITIVE! As expected, some days are better than others- depending on procedures and/or medications. Unfortunately, she is currently neutropenic  and can no longer can have flowers, fruits or even visitors. Although this saddens her, it was expected and means the chemo is doing its job.

We are overwhelmed by the amount of love and support we have received in the past few weeks. It truly shows the meaning of family, friends, and community. We are beyond grateful and can not begin to thank all of you enough. With so many people reaching out, we apologize if our responses are delayed. Hopefully this web site will allow us to keep everyone informed and updated as much as possible.

Please keep Eileen and our family in your prayers. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you.

*(We have noticed that on this page, CaringBridge asks for donations in Eileen's honor. We just want everyone to be aware that this request is not from the Tiexiera Family and these donations go directly to CaringBridge. We do not discourage donations to CaringBridge, we just want everyone to be aware.)
