On  May 25, 2018, Little E was diagnosed with Leukemia. He was experiencing some odd joint pain and a random fever that appeared viral. When the pain became worrisome, a trip to Nemours (AI hospital) was appropriate.   Tests and labs showed these odd symptoms were leukemia.  On May 29, 2018, studies showed that the type of leukemia he has is blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell which is very rare in children.  His treatment began on June 1st, once they confirmed his diagnosis. As of today, June 11th, Little E is handling chemo very well. He struggles to swallow the pills and is tired and nauseous from treatment but is in good spirits. His doctors are happy with his progress and his lab work is great. He is even off IV fluids.

Please keep Little E and his amazing family in your thoughts and prayers. Check back for updates and ways the family could use your help!!!
