Ed Morris

Hello friends. We're setting this up to let you know that Tuesday morning, Edward Morris had a deep brain bleed, carotid artery blockage and stroke and is currently in ICU at the Midland Hospital. He is alert, talking and coherent at this time but has many challenges ahead of him as they try to determine the damage and the treatment he needs.
Ed is being closely monitored and is stable but things can change rapidly so he will remain in ICU until the medical staff feel that it's safe to move him to the next level of care.

Times being what they are, his wife, Amy, is doing the best she can trying to get information about Ed via phone conversations with the medical staff. It clearly isn't the best way to have to deal with such an emotional situation but she's, as always, a trooper. Amy is not able to enter the hospital and hasn't seen Ed since he was taken by ambulance. As you can imagine, this is very hard and stressful for her and we felt that this is the best way that we, Amy and her family, can keep you updated as new information becomes available. It's simply just too hard for her to respond to all the calls, texts and messages no matter how much she wants to, not to mention that it's mentally and emotionally exhausting. We want to assure you though that your support and messages mean the world to her and she truly appreciates all of you. We will update this site as new information becomes available and would ask that you please pray for Ed and Amy as they work through this difficult time.
On behalf of Amy and Ed, we thank you all and will update as we can.
Thanks.
