Earl Stuart

As our family gathered in Kelowna to celebrate Father’s Day we received an unexpected and devastating diagnosis that Dad has gallbladder/liver cancer.  

We are facing this new reality and learning to navigate the way forward into uncharted territory (with this rare cancer diagnosis). Amidst upcoming appointments with surgeons and oncologists, we will be showering Earl with warmth, love and affection, as this Prince Albert raised former hockey scrapper goes into the fight of his life.

With Dad’s highly practiced verbal skills and refined (but mostly repetitive) story-telling abilities he has made many many friends over the years and has a large social network (including many “Smiley’s”). They say strength is in numbers. Let’s harness this power!!!!

Please send your healing energy for Earl’s life and pray that he will have minimal suffering and receive the appropriate treatment to continue to be with us. As much as a BIG pain he can be, we are just not ready for him to leave us:)

We are using this site to not only simplify things for Mom by keeping friends & family informed of Dad’s journey, but to encourage sharing of love, support, and encouragement for Dad as he faces this uncertainty with strength and determination. We also welcome funny stories, as we all know humour is Earl’s love language.
