Dad got a tick bite on August 6 and went to urgent care for treatment  Tuesday August 11. His leg was infected and warm at the time.

The following week he went to Oklahoma for a week. Over that time the leg got worse . Tuesday morning he had blood work done and found his kidney function was poor.

August 25-28 he was hospitalized for partial kidney failure. He was home Friday-Monday. Monday morning his leg was very swollen and warm and very painful. He went to the ER and was admitted to the ICU August 31 with sepsis  and high kidney numbers.

September 3 they put a port in for kidney dialysis. Two liters of fluid were removed during the first dialysis treatment. Friday and Saturday he had dialysis again and and more fluid was removed.  He felt better after his first treatment . He is breathing much better and his kidney numbers are slowly improving (dropping).
