Earlene Sullivan Grandma's Journey

First post: Nov 29, 2017 Latest post: Dec 3, 2017
Earlene was diagnosed with stage 4 small cell lung cancer in August 2016. Anybody that's been blessed to know her realizes that she is a fighter and she doesn't give up easy. The day  the doctor told her that she had cancer she told him that she wasn't ready to go anywhere yet. And she needs more time because she has too much to do. Since then she's gone through several rounds of chemo/treatment and she's handled it pretty  well considering.  She told her doctor that she thought he lied to her,  because she didn't feel like she had cancer. In August 2017 she had her last round of chemo/ treatment and a PET scan. It showed that the chemo/ treatment wasn't working anymore. She has been working with Hospice over the last month. Throughout her illness she done whatever she can to keep busy. Unfortunately over the last week or so her health is starting to decline and she is starting to slow down I bit. We are hoping by using this website we will be able to keep everyone up-to-date on her condition.
