Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

On Sunday, December 11, Dwight was playing racquetball with his buddy Bill and collapsed.
He had no pulse and Bill performed CPR until ambulance got there. Praise God the fire station was only a block away!
They shocked him twice in ambulance and got his vitals back to normal.
He never regained consciousness.
On Sunday evening they put him in a hypothermic state that lasted 24 hours to give time for his heart and brain to heal.
Monday night around 9pm they started bringing him out by warming his body up.
Tuesday morning they started waking him up and he regained consciousness and started talking.
Tuesday afternoon they performed a cardio cath to see what was going on with his heart.
They found he has severe heart disease: 3 arteries are blocked. 100%, 90% and 80% blockage with a lot of other areas affected!
Due to his short term memory loss,  they are wanting to do Surgery Fri, but will hold off, until he is more cognitive!
Thank you so much for your support, love and prayers!!
