Dwain had scheduled bypass surgery on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at the VA hospital in Ann Arbor. While in the ICU he went into cardiac arrest and had to put on life support. . After several hours, Dwain was transferred to the Frankel Cardiovascular Center at the University of Michigan Hospital.
