We've started this site to provide updates on Dusty's journey...

In February 2016, Dusty was diagnosed with Prostate cancer.  By the time of his diagnosis, the cancer had metastasized to his bones.  Dusty has undergone several rounds of chemotherapy and radiation and the treatments had provided some relief and more time.  However, in the past few days Dusty's symptoms have become more challenging due to the aggressive nature of the cancer.   His medical team has advised  that further treatment is experimental and will likely do more harm than good.  

We are focused on helping Dusty feel comfort, support, and love as he continues his journey.  Thank you to all who have reached out to us. We feel so fortunate to have so many caring people in our lives, including our family, friends, and all of the people Dusty has crossed paths with through the years.
